FIIT - Fight Inspired Interval Training - is the brainchild of a father-son duo with extensive professional fight experience. Drawing upon our years of competitive fighting, we have developed a training system that caters to individuals of all fitness levels, providing them with the most effective physical and mental training methods used by world-class fighters. Fighters epitomize peak athleticism, both physically and mentally, and we have unlocked the secrets of their conditioning through meticulous preparation and training. JASON BATTISTE

Jason, a former Canadian Kickboxing Champion, began training kickboxing at the age of 18 and within six years, he not only became a professional fighter but also became a father to FIIT co-owner, Kiian.

 

Despite facing adversity when a broken right hand forced him to retire after nearly a decade in the ring, Jason fearlessly adapted, leveraging his wealth of knowledge and skills to embark on a new path as a trainer. After honing his craft at various locations across the GTA, he finally established his own training space.

 

Driven by his unwavering passion for the art of combat and fueled by a desire to empower individuals from all walks of life and skill levels, Jason, alongside his now adult son, Kiian, established Fight Inspired Interval Training. Together, they strive to ignite the inner fighter in each person, drawing upon their shared love for the sport and the remarkable journey that led them to this point.

JJ ROTA

Meet JJ, a dedicated Muay Thai fighter and esteemed trainer at FIIT Co. for the past two years. His training journey began under the guidance of our very own Jason, igniting a passion that has propelled him to great heights.

Recently, JJ returned from Thailand, where he immersed himself in rigorous training and fought his way to victory with two knockout wins in Muay Thai bouts. His firsthand experience in the ring translates seamlessly into his role as a teacher, as he imparts the essential skills and discipline that have defined his martial arts success.

With a specialization in teen classes, JJ combines cardio, strength, and authentic Thai-style training to create engaging and impactful sessions. You might even catch him pushing the boundaries of the adult boxing pad classes, leading by example.

JJ's motivation stems from a deep love for challenging himself and uncovering his true potential. Now, he invites you to embark on your own transformative journey. KIIAN KNIGHT

Kiian embarked on his martial arts journey at a young age, influenced by his father Jason, an active competitor in the field. With fighting deeply ingrained in his bloodline, Kiian absorbed the fundamental principles of kickboxing from his father's tutelage during his formative years. While pursuing other competitive sports, Kiian consistently honed his martial arts skills, preparing himself for the rigors of the ring.

 

At the age of 15, Kiian stepped into the ring to test his mettle. Fuelled by unwavering discipline and dedication, he steadily amassed invaluable experience in the ring, securing numerous championship victories along the way.

 

Beyond his passion for competing, Kiian discovered a passion for coaching, relishing the opportunity to work alongside aspiring individuals who share his commitment to hard work and personal growth. Collaborating with his father Jason, they established a program called FIIT (Fight Inspired Interval Training) at their Toronto gym, FIIT Co.

 

Through FIIT, Kiian and Jason sought to share their extensive knowledge and experience, empowering individuals to unlock their full potential inside and outside the ring. Kiian firmly believes that everyone possesses their own battles to fight, and he endeavors to guide others on their path towards becoming the champions of their own lives.
